This CD from the Oblivians compiles a couple of 10" the band released in the early-mid 90s.
It's filled with raw, fuzzy splendor that needs to be played loud.
I can, without reservation, recommend every release by this band as essential listening.

ive done a lot of drugs and had a lot of sex to that album in the past
I've never even heard of them. I'll keep my eyes open. . . .
Chris - Those guys, when they first showed up in the 90s, they redefined raw. They've done some one-off gigs in recent years, but they called it a day a long time ago. Greg Carwright went on to front Reigning Sound, and Jack Yarber/Oblivian has a lot of projects, including the recent Rat City album, which right now is my pick for rocknroll record of the year. Greg and Jack were also in the Compulsive Gamblers. Good rocknroll there, too. They've also played with various Jeffrey Evans combos. And Eric Oblivian runs Goner Records out of Memphis.
Dave - Yeah, those guys showed up right at the tail end of my pill popping for fun days. We were lucky in that both Oblivians and Compulsive Gamblers hit Chicago fairly often.
And boobs.
